We first saw Funkee Station at Dick O’Dow’s in Birmingham to check them out to play our wedding. We were instantly impressed by their musical ability, song selection (it was like they could read our minds about what songs we wanted to hear!) and just their overall enthusiasm to play great music. We instantly hired them to play our wedding at the Roostertail. Again from the moment they went on, the dance floor was packed and the songs they played got everyone moving. We had a DJ to emcee and to play songs during breaks, but Funkee Station controlled the room. The most memorable part for me is when I was dancing with my wife and the sax player got off stage, came over by us and did a solo and made the moment extra special. We were so impressed with Funkee Station my wife recommended them for a corporate function that her work put on. You’re a truly exceptional band and we hope to see you guys play again soon! Thanks Funkee Station, you made our wedding day!

Going on our 3rd year of marriage and we can't stop thinking about how memorable your band made our wedding. Our family and friends are still talking about how great you guys were. My brother-in-law is in a band and was having so much fun listening to you guys during dinner that he kept forgetting to eat. One of Nick's cousin still has your card because he is convinced that he is going to book you guys for one of his big family events. I could go on and on, but the one thing I will never forget is how you learned how to play "Faithfully" for us. We both instantly think of you guys playing at our wedding when that song is ever played. Feel free to have any of your potential clients give me a call if they have any doubt about having you guys play in their wedding.

The only word I can use to describe your recent performance at my husband's 30th Birthday Party is absolutely amazing. Your group surpassed my expectations in every possible way. The music was top notch, the energy was electric and your group had all of our guests up shaking their thangs all night long. To add to it, the hall where we hosted the party is a difficult venue to do with it's high ceilings and terrible acoustics, but your sound was incredible and did not suffer at all. There were so many compliments from all of my guests on how great the band was, you really made the party. Thank you for everything especially playing to the crowd, making my birthday guy fell like the king, and enjoying yourselves. You are a great group of guys to work with! You did such a good job at our wedding - everyone commented on how you made the night great. You went from playing great jazzy music during dinner, to 'turning it up' when it was time to dance - and you really got our friends out on the dance floor. Friends were dancing who usually never get out & dance! The music and song choices were perfect, and having a 'traveling' sax into the crowd was a fun touch.
You were accommodating about playing requests. Everyone in the band is friendly and fun. I will recommend Funkeestation 100% to anyone looking for a high-energy and great band.
